The long-awaited KMF documentary is almost complete! Running time is 39 minutes. This documentary was professionally filmed and edited to deliver a work with excellent production values. The emphasis of the film is on the way in which Christ is being manifested in Word and deed amongst this little band of Christians who cling to the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.

Against the backdrop of the cataclysmic January, 2010 earthquake, you will see the material challenges facing the Church in Haiti, including ubiquitous poverty, medical crises, orphaned children, and the need for education. More, you will see the ELCH in the context of the spiritual crisis in Haiti: widespread Vodou on the one hand, and evangelicalism that seeks to strip the Church of the Sacraments and liturgy on the other. Between these spiritual aberrations and in the midst of the material needs, you will see a brightly shining Lutheran church body, resplendent with the gifts of the gospel which shine forth with Christ himself.

The film is unrated, but we would suggest parental discretion, as there are a few scenes that portray injuries which may be disturbing to young viewers.
